say St. James, they think grapes. Here's the latest information on where the grapes are.
Grapestands:
Heading East on I-44 from Rolla towards St. Louis
mile marker 197 Ambrose's Stand
573-265-8212 Concords but some other varieties, too. Call if you want to order a bulk amount.
mile marker 200 Mike Rippelmeyer 573-263-3340 He grows a variety
of grapes; he bought the stand that his father and he ran together under
the 4-M name. Mike grows a lot
of grapes favored by home winemakers. Stand is open now. It's the first!
mile marker 200.6 Piazza's 573-265-8353 Concords and some Niagara at the stand. Stand opens mid
August. Call if you want to order bushels. Concords only.
